## Rijiju alleges violent conspiracy
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju alleged on Sunday that a conspiracy similar to one behind violence in France and Bangladesh was hatched by anti-India gangs and politicians to instigate youngsters and spread violence.
## Protests target electoral roll revision
Rijiju launched the attack while responding to a series of protests held in Delhi this month against the Special Intensive Revision of the electoral roll and demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
## India is different, Rijiju says
Those who hatched the dangerous conspiracy forgot that India is neither Bangladesh nor France, the Parliamentary Affairs Minister said, distinguishing India's situation from unrest elsewhere.

> India is neither Bangladesh nor France
## Change only through elections
A change of government in India is certainly possible, but only through elections, not through Soros, Rijiju said, referencing Hungarian-American activist George Soros and his Open Society Foundations.

> certainly possible, but only through elections, not through Soros
## Opposition figures named in video
Rijiju shared a video showing recent comments by lawyer Prashant Bhushan, All India Students' Association leader Neha Bora, activist Yogendra Yadav and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
## Key takeaway

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju alleged a conspiracy by anti-India gangs and politicians to incite violence in India, comparing it to unrest in France and Bangladesh, while asserting government change is only possible through elections.
