## Rita Konig's Domino Days
Rita Konig started as a Domino editor in 2004 and lived in a 400-square-foot NYC apartment.

> Everything was fun; nothing was stuffy and it was quite attainable
## Wicker Cache Pots
Konig buys wicker or willow baskets for multiple uses like holding dishcloths or plants.

> I love items with multiple uses. Wicker or willow, but I particularly love wicker cache pots for plants like hyacinths in winter
## Wine Tumblers
Konig prefers wine tumblers for their casual feel and ease of use in drinks.

> The ones I reach for more and more are wine tumblers because they’re so easy and feel so much more casual
## French-Inspired Sofa
Konig bought a shallow, high-backed sofa that moved with her through apartments and reupholstered multiple times.

> It’s shallow and high-backed, perfect for chatting in the kitchen
## Lacquer Trays
Konig designed a Belles Rives lacquer tray with The Lacquer Company for multi-use storage.

> I learned the power of the tray at Domino. Everyone seemed to corral things into little trays
## Serving Bowls
Konig bought a single Mud Australia china plate for roast chicken and still uses it today.

> I bought a big serving plate, just one, and I used it for my roast chicken, potatoes, and vegetables
## White Bed Linens
Konig collects layered bed linens, including vintage covers and D. Porthault patterns.

> I’ll do a solid sheet with maybe a colored edge. I’ll have vintage covers, like a lovely old suzani or eiderdown in the winter
