## The Qrevo line wakes up
Roborock let its affordable Qrevo vacuums sit without updates for years while it chased oddities like the sock-grabbing Saros Z70. The Qrevo 2 Pro, out at the end of August, ends the drought.
## A new budget favorite
After two weeks of living with it, the reviewer calls it one of her favorite sub-$1,000 robot vacuums, with enough power to rival her current budget pick, the Eufy Omni C28.
## Specs that punch up
A 20,000 Pa motor, mop pads spinning at 200 RPM, LiDAR mapping, a FlexiArm mop for tight spots, Matter support for voice control, and an app that stays easy to use.
## SmartPlan is a maybe
The AI-powered cleaning plan showed no visible difference against a normal cycle in two weeks of use. It also cannot see spills or stains, so do not expect it to react to messes.

> It's not the kind of AI that's going to spot spills and stains
## Corners finally get clean
The FlexiArm mop and a reversible side brush work together to flick debris out of edges. It got the Cheerio stashed in the corner by the fridge, a spot most vacuums miss.
## Slim enough to slip under
At 3.8 inches tall it fits beneath most kitchen counter toe kicks, so it can pull out the debris hiding under the cabinets and clean right into the edge.
## Pet hair, yes. Long hair, mostly
Cat hair vanished from the carpeted bedrooms and the low-pile rug came up fluffy. Long human hair got picked up too, but some of it ended up rolled into a ball near the bed.
## A base station you can live with
Low profile, with clean and dirty water tanks up top that lift out for the sink. It self-cleans at 149 degrees and dries the pads with 113 degree air.
## Quieter than the competition
Water refill and drain is the loud part, like a small jet. Drying is near silent, mop mode is easy to work next to, and it never buzzes around the house like other bots do.

> I couldn't hear it running at all when in the other room.
## Sticky spills need two passes
The spill test was its weakest showing, taking two runs to clear. A whole-home clean that crossed a big spill left the surrounding floor feeling stickier than usual, so spot clean instead.
## Thresholds still trip it
It rolls over transitions without getting stuck, but drops debris on the way across, especially between hard floor and carpet. Roborock has had this problem on other models too.

> I don't like needing to take out a cordless vacuum to finish the job.
## It misses the small stuff
Great with furniture and real obstacles, blind to the little ones. It drove a cat toy around the room and shredded a loose tissue across a high-pile rug instead of sucking it up.
## Worth it at $500
It lists for $800 but has already dipped to $500 since launch. It lands as a runner-up budget pick behind the Eufy C28 Omni, and whichever is on sale is usually the better buy.
## Key takeaway

The Qrevo 2 Pro nails walls, corners, and daily cleans for under $1,000, but you still need to clear the floor of cords, toys, and tissues before you hit start.
