## Rockies missing playoffs again
Colorado is winding down another season without October baseball as the team continues its rebuild.
## Arizona Fall League explained
The Arizona Fall League is where teams send prospects to develop and play when their organization is eliminated or they're not yet in the majors.
## Eight players heading to Arizona
The Rockies are sending Konner Eaton, Stu Flesland III, Hunter Mann, Fidel Ulloa, Jack O'Dowd, Andy Perez, Jared Thomas, and Sean Sullivan to the Arizona Fall League.
## Coaches Jerry Sullivan and Owen Cuffe attending
Two Rockies coaches will accompany the prospects to the Arizona Fall League to oversee their development.
## Sullivan's rough MLB debut
Sean Sullivan made his major league debut on June 23 against Boston, allowing three runs in five innings, but struggled badly in his next two starts against Miami and San Francisco.
## Sullivan hasn't pitched since
After being shelled by Miami and San Francisco, Sullivan has not appeared with the Rockies since those starts.
## Sullivan still has time to develop
At 24 years old, Sullivan was a second-round pick in 2023 and has plenty of time to prove he deserves his draft position.
## Rockies need rotation help soon
If Sullivan develops correctly and figures things out, he could help Colorado's starting rotation by 2027.
## Key takeaway

Sean Sullivan, a 24-year-old pitcher with MLB experience, gets a second chance to prove himself after a rough start to his career.
