## Phones are a hassle at packed concerts
Checking texts, notifications and set times means constantly reaching into your pocket in a crowded venue. The Samsung Galaxy Watch9 aims to reduce those phone checks.

> your phone can quickly become more of a hassle than a convenience
## The watch specs are solid for the price
At $379.99, the 40mm model features a 1.3-inch sapphire-crystal display with 3,000 nits brightness, a 390mAh battery, GPS, and health tracking. It's designed to require less frequent charging.
## Wrist access beats pocket digging in crowds
At a Brooklyn Charli xcx concert, the biggest advantage was checking important info at a glance without pulling out your phone. Keeping your phone tucked away in a crowd is one less thing to worry about.

## Fitness tracking works during the show
The watch's dance workout option tracked activity during the high-energy concert. Its Fitness Index combines VO2 max, heart rate, steps and activity data to provide insights.
## It doesn't replace your phone, just reduces checks
The Galaxy Watch9's real appeal is reducing how often you need to pull out your phone, not eliminating it entirely. After a full night at a Brooklyn concert, that practical benefit stands out.

> it can help reduce how often you need to pull it out
## Key takeaway

The Galaxy Watch9 reduces how often you need to pull out your phone at concerts by putting key info on your wrist.
