## Two friends, one cover
Bullock sat down with Jennifer Aniston for Interview magazine's Tuesday cover and went back over the whole span of her career.
## Auditioning for perverts
She remembers rooms where the people casting her treated an audition as leverage, and where the ask had nothing to do with acting.

> perverts
## Asked to drop her pants
One request she names outright: take your pants off. It was the kind of demand that told her exactly what the job actually was.

> drop my pants
## Not the role for me
So she made a call. Any part that required sitting through that was a part she would not chase, however early in her career it came.

> Not the role for me
## Back in theaters
The conversation also covered her return to the big screen, with Practical Magic 2 putting her back in front of a cinema audience.
## A letter to her daughter
Bullock calls the sequel a love letter to her own daughter, and she and Aniston also got into what it takes to live a life in public.

> love letter
## Key takeaway

Bullock built a long career partly by deciding early which rooms she would not stay in.
