## Prime Day Headphone Deals
Amazon Prime Day offers discounts on two Beyerdynamic headphone models for guitarists.
## DT 990 Pro: $149.99
The Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro is priced at $149.99 with a $50 discount from its original $199.99 price.

The closed-back Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro is now $159.99 after a $40 discount from its original $199.99 price.
## Why Guitarists Need Studio Headphones
Most consumer headphones have a 'V' profile that cuts mids and boosts highs and lows, which is bad for guitar tone.
## DT 990 Pro: Open-Back Design
The DT 990 Pro has open-back design for a natural soundstage but leaks sound, making it unsuitable for silent practice.
## DT 770 Pro: Closed-Back Design
The DT 770 Pro is closed-back, preventing sound leakage, ideal for silent practice in noisy environments.
## Which Headphone to Choose
Choose DT 990 Pro for natural sound without silent practice needs; DT 770 Pro for complete quiet practice.
## Key takeaway

Amazon Prime Day offers $149.99 for Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro and $159.99 for DT 770 Pro headphones, ideal for guitarists needing studio-quality sound.
