## The final is set
Ben Shelton and Alexander Zverev meet for the US Open men's title. ABC News built the day's coverage around that single match.
## Blake takes the mic
ESPN analyst James Blake handles the breakdown. He is a former tour pro turned broadcaster, so the read comes from someone who has played this stage.

## A preview, not a recap
This runs before the first serve, not after the trophy. The job is to tell you what to watch for while the result is still open.
## More than the title match
Blake also flags the rest of the day's play. The final anchors the schedule, but it is not the whole of it.
## Stamped to the day
The segment carries a September 13, 2026 date, the morning of the final. Watch it later and it stops being a preview.

> September 13, 2026
## Watch it, don't read it
The preview exists as a video on ABC News, sitting in the network's live and on demand feed next to the rest of the day's clips.
## Key takeaway

Ben Shelton and Alexander Zverev play for the US Open men's title on September 13, 2026, and James Blake's preview is the shortcut to knowing what will decide it.
