OCHA counted 20 homes plus several other facilities destroyed across two farming communities. A nearby community had been demolished days earlier, on 2 September.

UN Women estimates about 86,290 families in Gaza are now headed by a woman, as airstrikes continue and aid stays limited.

## Named among the dead
OCHA reports 246 women and girls killed in Gaza since a cease-fire 11 months ago, including Raghad Ashour, 18, killed heading to a school exam.
