## Virtual Rock defies weight rise
Virtual Rock bids to overcome a seven-pound penalty in the Betting.Bet Free Racing Tips Conditional Jockeys' Handicap Hurdle at Fontwell. Shane Fenelon rides the horse, who won at Uttoxeter under new trainer after switching yards earlier this month.
## Goodwin Face seeks return to form
Goodwin Face was sent off as favourite at Cartmel in June but failed to repeat his previous win there. He returns after an extended break and could be an interesting contender if he bounces back.
## Shipbourne targets Southwell comeback
The well-bred Shipbourne, son of Frankel and Guineas winner Special Duty, looks to return to form at Southwell under Rossa Ryan. He doubled his tally on reappearance at Doncaster but has since regressed with two below-par efforts.
## Siam Park returns from wind surgery
Top-rated Siam Park takes on recent scorer Motazzen in the Setford Handicap Hurdle at Fontwell. The Joe Tizzard-trained gelding hasn't won since November but has finished second twice and makes his first start after wind surgery.
## Motazzen carries penalty after win
Motazzen brought up his fifth hurdle win at the beginning of the month but the handicapper has stung him with a four-pound penalty. Another bold effort can be expected from the Fontwell scorer.
## Eight races across both tracks
Beyond the main races, the day includes eight races at Fontwell and Southwell, with highlights including Causing Problems making his hurdle debut for Dan Skelton and Flight Tracker seeking his first win.
## Key takeaway

Virtual Rock and Siam Park are the standout runners at Fontwell, while Shipbourne looks to bounce back at Southwell.
