## Rams dominate first half scoring
Los Angeles leads 14-3 at halftime despite playing without wide receiver Puka Nacua and pass rusher Myles Garrett. The Giants lost quarterback Jaxson Dart on their opening possession.
## Stafford and Adams connect repeatedly
Matthew Stafford has completed 11 of 15 passes for 184 yards and two touchdowns. Davante Adams has caught five passes for 145 yards and a touchdown.
## Aaron Donald returns after 981 days
Rams defensive lineman Aaron Donald is playing in his first game since retiring after the 2023 season. He officially unretired on August 30 and already has three tackles including one for loss.
## Adams' best game in nearly two years
The 31-year-old receiver's five catches for 145 yards and a touchdown is his best performance since December 15, 2024, when he caught nine passes for 198 yards and two touchdowns against Jacksonville.
## Giants stall in red zone repeatedly
New York had six possessions in the first half and crossed midfield four times, reaching the Los Angeles 43, 43, 18, and 3 yard lines without scoring a touchdown. They settled for a field goal.
## Holland keeps Giants competitive
Giants safety Jevon Holland has an interception, a forced fumble, and a recovered fumble. He punched the ball out of Kyren Williams' hands at the Los Angeles 11 yard line late in the first half.
## Rams miss chance to extend lead
Kicker Harrison Mevis missed a 43-yard field goal attempt wide left on the final play of the first half. The Rams could have led 17-3 instead of 14-3.
## Key takeaway

The Rams are dominating the first half despite missing key players, with Matthew Stafford and Davante Adams connecting effectively while the Giants have stalled in the red zone.
