## Suarez returns after three months
The Braves reliever made his first Major League appearance since June 19, pitching the seventh inning of Atlanta's 3-2 walk-off win over Cincinnati on Wednesday night.

> I'm grateful for the opportunity the team's given me.
## Damage control in the seventh
Suarez allowed a leadoff triple but retired the next three batters he faced, limiting the damage after Matt McLain's hit scored on a sacrifice fly.
## Fastball velocity nearly back
Suarez's four-seam fastball averaged 98.6 miles per hour, just slightly down from his 98.8 average before the injury sidelined him in June.
## Manager sees positive signs
Braves manager Walt Weiss praised Suarez's arm strength and command, saying it was great to see him back on the mound after three months away.

> His arm strength was great. His command was probably not pinpoint, but still pretty good.
## Two more appearances before playoffs
Suarez is scheduled to make one more appearance before potentially being added to Atlanta's National League Wild Card Series roster, with another likely outing Saturday in Miami.
## Key takeaway

Suarez pitched a successful inning despite allowing a leadoff triple, showing he's ready to contribute down the stretch.
