## Cliff Booth is back
Quentin Tarantino is returning to the stuntman from Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood, the character Brad Pitt played on screen.
## A novel, not a movie
Tarantino is writing the story as a book called The Adventures of Cliff Booth, so the next chapter arrives on the page.
## Harper publishes in December
The novel comes out this December through Harper.
## Hollywood, 1977
The book jumps forward a decade from the film, landing Booth in a Hollywood where the Swinging Sixties have already burned out.

> Hollywood, 1977. The Swinging Sixties are long gone
## War hero to projectionist
Harper's synopsis lists his working life: war hero, stuntman, bartender, cinema projectionist. Booth keeps on keeping on.

> War hero, stuntman, bartender, cinema projectionist
## The side work
He still takes on what the publisher calls clandestine services for his friends, which is where the adventures presumably start.

> with the occasional 'clandestine services' for his friends
## Key takeaway

Tarantino is continuing Cliff Booth's story in print, not on screen, with a Harper novel out this December.
