## Tesla Roadster Reservation Terms
Tesla states Roadster is still under development and cannot guarantee delivery or if a car will be made.

> Roadster is still under development and so we cannot guarantee when your vehicle will actually be delivered or if it will be delivered.
## Reservation Agreement Details
Customers get an approximate place in line, not a confirmed build slot, with features and pricing subject to change.

> it is just that. Customers are only getting an "approximate" place in line if the Roadster enters production, not a confirmed build slot.
## Reservation Refund Policy
Reservations are fully refundable and non-transferable without a no-resale clause, unlike previous models.

> Reservations are also fully refundable, which, given Tesla’s track record with the previous Roadster, is an option customers should definitely keep in mind.
## Key takeaway

Tesla cannot guarantee Roadster reservation holders will ever receive a car despite $250,000 deposits.
