## Tesla's New Flying Roadster
Tesla CEO Elon Musk promised a flying Roadster for over a decade, finally demonstrating it can fly briefly using a SpaceX package.
## SpaceX Thruster System
The Roadster uses cold-gas thrusters generating up to two Gs of downward force for mid-air maneuvers.
## Cybertruck Resemblance
The flying Roadster shares sharp body lines and flat panels with Tesla's Cybertruck, a design approach familiar from brutalist pickups.
## Safety Concerns
The thruster system risks severe danger if malfunctioning, with Tesla history of treating customers as guinea pigs.
## Investor Reaction
Tesla shares rose less than two percent after the Roadster reveal, indicating investor skepticism about its financial impact.
## Key takeaway

Tesla's flying Roadster, a SpaceX thruster system, is a tech demo that resembles the Cybertruck but lacks road legality and safety.
