## Surfaces make the space
Flooring, hardware, backsplashes, and faucets define your home's vibe more than any structural change. This year's winners feature pictorial tile, trompe l'oeil wallpaper, and jewelry-like knobs.
## Landscapes in marble and onyx
Boheme's Vestigia tile collection skips checkerboard for bold marble and onyx depicting landscapes, structures, and symbols. It makes bathrooms feel like mystical Italian villas.
## Wallpaper that fools the eye
Former Domino editor Kate Berry teamed with Graham & Brown on wallpaper inspired by her 16th-floor balcony garden. The Moire Faux Bois pattern looks exactly like real wood grain.
## Mixed metals, one knob
Lo & Co's Duet knob combines brass and nickel in a single sculptural piece. Designed with SMAC Studio, it settles the debate between metal finishes.

> It seems these days people are either team brass or team nickel. But we say play the field.
## A faucet with attachments
Brizo's Faircroft collection brings 1930s and 40s design to vintage-inspired kitchens. The bridge faucet includes attachable accessories like a jewelry tray, soap dish, and towel bar.
## Mirror studs like earrings
MG&Co's Flower Studs turn frameless mirrors into statement pieces. Each mounting stud features a lapis or malachite stone at its center.

> Funnily enough, the studs really do remind us of earrings.
## Key takeaway

The best new home finishes for 2026 blend artistry with function, from landscape-printed marble tiles to mixed-metal cabinet knobs.
