## A museum you can touch
The Interim Computer Museum preserves computing history through interactive exhibits rather than sealed display cases.
## Old iron, new tricks
Exhibits run on vintage hardware with modern enhancements bolted on, so the machines still work instead of just sitting there.

## Watch the evolution happen
Visitors trace how computing changed by using the machines at each step, bridging the past and the present in one room.
## Charity, not gift shop
ICM is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, partnered with SDF Public Access UNIX System, Inc., a 501(c)(7) membership organization.
## Members keep it alive
Membership funds community events, remote access to the machines, and the slow work of preserving artifacts.

> Membership is crucial to our mission
## Visit, donate, or join
The Visit page carries contact and booking details. Donating or joining is how the exhibits stay powered on.
## Key takeaway

Computing history sticks when you can touch it, so ICM keeps vintage hardware powered up and usable.
