## Traitors debuts on US network TV
The Traitors: New Blood premieres Thursday, September 17 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC via Sling TV and streams on Peacock.
## All-amateur cast replaces veterans
This edition features only everyday Americans, not reality TV veterans from Big Brother, Survivor, or The Challenge. It's the first time the entire cast are reality TV rookies.
## Non-celebrity versions play harder
Amateur editions around the world produce more brutal gameplay with higher stakes for players for whom prize money is genuinely life-changing.
## Alan Cumming hosts from Scotland
Alan Cumming presides over the game of deception and betrayal at Ardross Castle in Scotland, maintaining the format from the flagship version.
## Weekly double episodes coming
The show will air weekly double-bills, promising an intense viewing experience as everyday players navigate the game without tactical expertise.
## Stream on Peacock now
The Traitors: New Blood streams exclusively on Peacock for now. Free streams are expected on BBC iPlayer (UK) and 10Play (AU) in the future.
## Key takeaway

The Traitors franchise debuts on US network television with an all-amateur cast, which historically produces more cutthroat gameplay than celebrity versions.
