## Grown-up budget, kid energy
Spreadsheets and sensible bedtimes took over, but the part of you that wants loud music and a gaming cave is still there. Today's Amazon Deals of the Day are aimed squarely at it.
## Three brands, three deals
Samsung, Soundcore, and TP-Link are all discounted today. One speaker for the pool, one monitor for the desk, one router for the road.
## The speaker leads
The Soundcore Boom 2 is 31% off, pushing 80 watts of bass and floating in the pool next to the cannonballs.

> dropping 80 watts of thumping bass and floating right alongside pool floats and cannonballs
## Boom 2 drops to $89.99
Normally $129.99, now $89.99 at Amazon. That is $40 off, the biggest percentage cut of the three deals.
## What the 80 watts do
A 2.1-channel setup pairs a 50-watt racetrack subwoofer with dual tweeters, and BassUp 2.0 pushes the low end harder.
## It floats, and it glows
An IPX7 rating means it survives a dunk and floats in a pool. Beat-synced LEDs handle the party lighting.
## All day, plus a charge
The battery runs 24 hours, and the speaker doubles as a power bank for your phone.
## PCMag called it excellent
Reviewer Tim Gideon praised the palpable bass, the LED lighting, and the waterproof portable build in his full review.

> Excellent
## Cheaper outdoor speakers exist
The Pyramid 2022SX pair is down to $34.99 from $55.99, and BolaButty lantern speakers are $79.99. Both are wired or budget picks, not Boom 2 rivals.
## Wired pairs for the yard
Herdio 6.5-inch 400W waterproof speakers are $116.99, Yamaha NS-AW150BL is $104.99, and the Yamaha NS-AW390 pair runs $179.99.
## Samsung ultrawide, $120 off
The 34-inch Odyssey G5 falls to $279.99 from $399.99, a 30% cut on a curved 21:9 gaming panel.
## A 1000R curve
The deep 1000R bend and 21:9 aspect ratio wrap the screen around your field of view instead of sitting flat in front of it.
## 3440x1440 of room
Ultra WQHD gives you sprawling game worlds or several spreadsheets side by side without squinting.
## 165Hz and 1ms
AMD FreeSync Premium kills tearing and ghosting at 165 hertz, and HDR10 adds contrast across darker scenes.
## Other monitors on sale
The Alienware AW2725D QD-OLED is $399.99 after $150 off, the Samsung Odyssey OLED G6 is $449.99, and the LG UltraGear 27G610A-B is $214.90.
## Fast and cheap options
An Alienware AW2525HM 25-inch runs 320Hz for $199.99, while the Asus ROG Strix XG27ACDNG hits 360Hz at $699.
## Pocket router, 20% off
The TP-Link Roam 6 drops to $79.98 from $99.99. It turns a hotel room into your own private network.
## AX3000 on the road
Dual-band Wi-Fi 6 reaches 3.0Gbps, and a 2.5G WAN port takes full advantage of fast hotel Ethernet.
## VPN for every device
OpenVPN and WireGuard client and server support means all your travel gadgets get encrypted at once, not one at a time.

> it encrypts all your travel gadgets simultaneously
## Runs off USB-C
Power it from a wall plug or a battery pack, which keeps it working on trains, in airports, and anywhere without an outlet.
## Key takeaway

The Boom 2 at $89.99 is the standout: PCMag rated it Excellent, and it is the deepest discount of the three at 31% off.
