## Xi arrives for state visit
Chinese President Xi Jinping is expected to land in the U.S. Wednesday for a state visit lasting through Friday. A dinner is planned for Thursday in Washington, D.C.
## U.S. tech leaders confirmed
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella will attend the Thursday dinner. Senior U.S. officials have also named Nvidia's Jensen Huang, Apple's Tim Cook, Tesla and SpaceX's Elon Musk, and Amazon's Jeff Bezos.
## More American executives listed
The U.S. delegation also includes OpenAI's Sam Altman, Google's Sundar Pichai, Citigroup's Jane Fraser, Meta's Mark Zuckerberg, and Dell's Michael Dell.
## China's guest list stays secret
China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs told CNBC Tuesday it had no information to provide about which executives would join Xi. Someone briefed on preparations said they were unaware of any Chinese companies invited.
## Possible Chinese attendees reported
Reuters reported business representatives under consideration include BYD, Xiaomi, battery makers CATL and Gotion, Hisense, Wanxiang, Bank of China, and COFCO Group. Most declined comment or said they had no confirmation.
## BYD participation signals strategy
Isaac Stone Fish, founder and CEO of Strategy Risks, said BYD's attendance would signal how important Xi views electric vehicles in China's overseas expansion. State-owned enterprises may blur business and government lines.

> Whether or not BYD participates in the Trump-Xi meetings this week will send a strong signal about the possibility of Chinese EVs in America.
## Key takeaway

Chinese President Xi Jinping arrives Wednesday for a state visit with a confirmed U.S. tech delegation, but China has not disclosed which executives, if any, will accompany him.
