## Trump Announces Execution Change
President Trump said the Pentagon will no longer live-stream the firing squad execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Malik Hasan after bipartisan criticism.
## Trump's Reason for Change
Trump argued publicly airing the execution might deter the world from seeing how America deals with terrorists and scum like Hasan, but he said good people wouldn’t want to watch it stream or otherwise.
## Execution Details
Hasan's execution is scheduled for December 3, and immediate families of victims can view it in person if they choose.
## Background on Hasan
Hasan, an Army psychiatrist who held the rank of major, shot 13 soldiers at Fort Hood on Nov. 5, 2009, and was convicted of killing 13 and injuring 32 others.
## Key takeaway

President Trump announced the Pentagon will no longer live-stream the execution of Nidal Malik Hasan, the Fort Hood shooter, following criticism from Republicans and Democrats.
