## Trump Proposes Ocean Renaming
Trump suggested renaming either the Atlantic or Pacific Ocean during a Tennessee campaign rally.

> We’ve got the Gulf, we’ve got a beautiful lake, and now someone said, 'You need a river,' so we need a river, we need an ocean. So I was thinking of either the Atlantic or the Pacific.
## Trump Ocean Concept
Trump proposed calling the ocean 'Trump Ocean' or 'Ocean of the Americas' for his renaming plan.

> We call it Trump Ocean or Ocean of the Americas, something like that.
## Previous Renaming Attempts
Trump previously tried renaming the Gulf of Mexico as 'Gulf of America' and Lake Ontario as 'Lake America' through executive orders.

> The president has already used executive orders to attempt to rename the Gulf of Mexico as the 'Gulf of America' and Lake Ontario as 'Lake America,' although the orders can’t force other countries to follow his lead.
## Internet Backlash
Critics mocked Trump’s proposal, suggesting he rename Earth to 'Planet Trump' next and questioning his priorities.

> Next he's going to say 'It will no longer be called EARTH. I declare it shall now be called PLANET TRUMP' and if you don't follow that rule you are an enemy of the state.
## Public Humiliation Concerns
Social media users criticized Trump for prioritizing self-promotion over practical issues like gas prices.

> Gas is almost $5 a gallon.
