## The tab problem
Browser tabs pile up fast. You end up drowning in pages you don't remember opening, or keeping tabs open because you know you'll need them later.

> Tabs are the best. They're also the worst.
## Tuck snoozes tabs like Gmail snoozes emails
Tuck is a free browser extension that hides tabs until a time you choose, like Gmail's snooze feature for emails. It works in Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox, Brave, Arc, Vivaldi and others.
## Click the owl icon to snooze
After installing Tuck, click the owl icon in your browser bar. You'll see snoozing options: Later today, Tomorrow, Weekend, and Next week. The tab closes and reopens at the time you chose.
## Keyboard shortcuts and natural language
Windows users can press Ctrl-Shift-one, two, or three to snooze tabs. macOS users press Cmd-Shift-one, two, or three. You can also type a time like Monday at two pm and the extension understands it.
## Auto-close idle tabs after 24 hours
By default, Tuck automatically closes tabs left idle for 24 hours and saves them to a list. You can change this to three hours, 12 hours, three days, or seven days, or turn it off entirely.
## No account needed, syncs across devices
Tuck requires no account and doesn't gather information about you. It syncs tabs using your browser's built-in syncing: Chrome via Google account, Firefox via Firefox Sync, Safari via iCloud. No mobile app exists.

> Chrome syncs with Chrome (via your Google account), Firefox with Firefox (via Firefox Sync), and Safari syncs across your Macs via iCloud.
## Key takeaway

Tuck, a free browser extension, lets you snooze open tabs to reopen later or automatically closes idle tabs, helping manage browser clutter.
