## Value and Quantity
The shipment is worth $470,000, representing 63 cards at Brazilian retail prices of R$33,000 to R$39,000 each.
## Distributor's Concern
Oderço Matos, who runs his family's electronics distribution company for 38 years, says this is the first time such a large shipment vanished at this scale.
## No Public Comment
Brazil's Federal Police and Federal Revenue Authority have not issued public comments on the case as of this week.
## Target of Theft
The theft is notable because the RTX 5090 is Nvidia's scarce flagship gaming card, not the method of disappearance.
## Scarcity and Theft Trends
Rumors of Nvidia discontinuing Founders Edition cards have spread, but Nvidia says production continues, making the cards scarce.
## Theft Impact
The incident pushes distributors toward tighter controls at the cargo terminal before cards reach retail.
## Key takeaway

63 Zotac RTX 5090 cards worth $470,000 vanish at São Paulo's Guarulhos airport during customs handling.
