## Texas stuns top-ranked Ohio State
The Longhorns erased a 20-point fourth-quarter deficit to beat the Buckeyes 24-23. Texas closed on a 21-3 run, scoring the winning touchdown with 25 seconds left.
## Meyer's biggest alarm: defensive collapse
The former Ohio State coach pointed to the final three drives where Texas ran 15 plays for 91 yards. The Buckeyes couldn't make a single stop when it mattered most.

> There was no mistake that they were going to score. I kept watching this and saying, 'Make a play, make a play,' and they couldn't.
## Only Jeremiah Smith is catching passes
Smith had eight catches while every other receiver combined had just two. The star freshman is on pace for a historic season but needs help.
## Smith's dominance masks receiver problems
The projected top-five NFL draft pick leads with 315 yards and three touchdowns through two games. Only one other receiver has topped 100 yards all season.
## Tough schedule looms after Kent State
Ohio State gets a breather this week as 52.5-point favorites. Then comes a brutal Big Ten stretch against Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Indiana, USC, and Oregon.
## Key takeaway

Ohio State's defense couldn't stop Texas in the final three drives, and only one receiver besides Jeremiah Smith is producing.
