## Iglesias strikes at the death
Juan Iglesias scored in the 81st minute on Friday to give Sevilla a 1-0 win. One goal was all it took.
## Rock bottom of La Liga
The defeat leaves Valencia last in the Spanish top flight, a club with six league titles now propping up the table.
## Four losses in five
This was Valencia's fourth defeat in five games this season. The pattern is set barely a month in.
## Caught on camera
During last weekend's 5-0 loss to Barcelona, Rodri was filmed telling teammates Pau Cubarsi and Raphinha what he thought of the opposition.

> very weak
## A lip-reader did the damage
Broadcaster Movistar used a lip-reader to decode the remark. Spanish papers rounded on Rodri for disrespect, but the words were already out.
## Twenty years of fading
Valencia last won the league over two decades ago, back when they reached consecutive Champions League finals. They have not qualified for Europe in seven years.
## Key takeaway

Valencia are not in a slump, they are in a two decade decline, and the rest of Spain has stopped pretending otherwise.
