## Vaonis Atlas Smart Telescope
Vaonis launches Atlas, a premium smart telescope with interchangeable optics and dual-camera imaging for astrophotography.
## Pricing and Availability
Priced at $4,990 / £3,770 after pre-order price of $3,990 / £3,010 until November 15, Atlas ships in March 2027.
## Modular Design
Atlas uses a modular platform allowing users to swap optical tubes and even deploy two identical modules simultaneously.
## Atlas 80 Imaging Module
The Atlas 80 features an 80mm apochromatic quadruplet optical system with two super-ED glass elements, 360mm focal length, and Sony IMX585 8.3-megapixel sensor.
## SkyTwin Technology
SkyTwin enables two Atlas 80 modules to image the same object simultaneously, doubling light collection for faster deep-sky imaging.
## SkyGuard System
SkyGuard uses a 12-megapixel Sony IMX676 all-sky camera to monitor sky conditions and generate night-sky time-lapses.
## Gaia App Integration
Atlas operates via Gaia app for iPhone Duo, enabling automatic celestial object imaging and remote control with six hours of battery life.
## Future Plans
Vaonis plans additional modules for planetary observation, solar filters, and an equatorial wedge, with modular system expanding over time.
## Key takeaway

Vaonis releases Atlas smart telescope with interchangeable optics, dual-camera imaging, and built-in fisheye lens for astrophotography.
