## The Rock sells skin care now
Dwayne Johnson launched Papatui in 2024 and keeps adding products, pitching grooming as something men should talk about out loud instead of hiding.

> So many times I would say, 'Dude, why are we whispering [about skin care]? It's okay.'
## Cheap enough to try
Most of the line runs under $15 at Target and Amazon. That low price is the whole appeal, but celebrity brands have burned shoppers before.
## Two guys, two weeks
The Post's commerce team sent Frank Massaro and Adam Schubini out with the products for 14 days, judging staying power, ease of use and whether they actually work.
## Deodorant survived doubleheaders
Frank plays softball year-round and still smelled like fresh coconut after a full office day. The $9.97 stick is aluminum-free, so it deodorizes without blocking sweat.

> Even after doubleheaders, I was able to still smell the fresh coconut scent after a full day in the office.
## No rash, for once
Both testers get irritated by drugstore deodorants. Adam had skipped underarm products for years, and Papatui left his skin clear through August in Florida.

> This product may change all that. It was immediately effective and my skin stayed clear after repeat usage.
## Volcanic ash scrub bites
The $12.99 exfoliator goes on smooth without clumping and cleared light impurities around one tester's T-zone. Keep it away from your eyes.

> I could feel the face scrub doing its job, with the coarse minerals stripping away all of that dirt.
## Two steps in one tube
The $9.99 moisturizer packs mineral SPF 30, so there is no second product to remember. No streaks, no grease, though it is slow to absorb.
## It fixed beard-line dryness
Adam had spent more on moisturizers that never solved the dry patches where his facial hair grows in. This one did, and it is going into his daily routine.

> I have tried several way more costly moisturizers... this product was far more effective.
## Eye patches after the open bar
Frank tested the $12.99 patches during a wedding weekend following a late night. Ten minutes, a cold shock to the face, and visibly less puffiness.

> They felt so cooling and wonderful on my face when applied, like a splash of cold water in the morning.
## The cleanser was the loser
Every other product won someone over. The hydrating facial cleanser was the one both testers ranked last in the bunch.
## Stamp of approval
Adam had failed at building a routine before and says he is ready to commit again. The price plus the shelf availability sealed it for both testers.

> Between the pricing and the wide availability of the products, Papatui absolutely has my stamp of approval multiple times over.
## Key takeaway

Papatui's deodorant, SPF moisturizer and eye patches held up under real sweat and late nights at Target prices, and the cleanser was the only dud.
