## Purdy’s playoff push
Brock Purdy earned high praise from coach Kyle Shanahan after leading the 49ers to a 32-29 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.

## Purdy’s statistical milestone
Purdy will qualify for all-time NFL leaderboards after throwing five passes against Washington, becoming the highest-rated passer in NFL history.
## Greenlaw’s suspension
Dre Greenlaw was suspended for one game after headbutting Seahawks linebacker Ernest Jones IV during the first half of Sunday’s game.
## Greenlaw’s appeal
Greenlaw is appealing his one-game suspension and has a hearing Tuesday, where he hopes to have it rescinded.
## Dugger’s opportunity
Rookie Jaden Dugger played 47 snaps in Greenlaw’s weakside role, recording his first career sack against Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold.
## Dugger’s performance
Dugger effectively plugged the run defense and delivered 21 snaps in coverage, allowing only three catches for 18 yards.
## Commanders’ challenge
The Washington Commanders rank No. 25 in pass defense EPA, a far cry from the Seattle defense that has ranked near the top of the NFL for the past two seasons.

Deebo Samuel strained his hamstring and will miss at least the next two games, leaving the 49ers without four top receivers.
## 49ers’ schedule
The 49ers face the Atlanta Falcons on Oct. 25 before their bye week, then host the Las Vegas Raiders on Nov. 8.
## 49ers’ defense
The 49ers turned the tide against the Seahawks’ defense by lining tight ends Luke Farrell and George Kittle up at wide receiver.
## What happens next
If Greenlaw loses his appeal, the 49ers will likely use rookie Jaden Dugger against the Commanders in their next game.
## Key takeaway

If Dre Greenlaw loses his one-game suspension appeal, the 49ers will likely use rookie Jaden Dugger against the Commanders.
