## WhatsApp launches event invites
WhatsApp is rolling out a new feature that lets you invite friends and family to events even if they don't have the app installed. Guests can view event details through a shared link.
## New Events Home manages RSVPs
WhatsApp's Events Home lets you create invites, manage RSVPs, send custom reminders, and let guests add a plus-one. You can view past and upcoming events in your Settings menu.
## Privacy protections for guests
WhatsApp won't show your phone number to guests you don't know. Non-app users only see the event address after they RSVP. The feature rolls out to all users in coming weeks.
## Key takeaway

WhatsApp is adding event planning tools that let users invite non-members via shareable links, positioning itself as an alternative to dedicated event platforms.
