## White Sox focus on ALDS
White Sox players are focused on clinching the American League Division Series game Thursday rather than the league's latest collective bargaining agreement proposal.
## MLB CBA proposal details
MLB owners proposed a 154-game season, a best-of-seven ALDS, and a salary cap in their latest collective bargaining agreement proposal.
## Sox players ignore CBA
Sox outfielder Tristan Peters said he hasn't formulated an opinion on the proposal, while manager Will Venable stated he could not care less about the current negotiations.
## MLBPA response
The MLBPA stated the league's proposals are contingent on players agreeing to a salary cap, which they consider a system that guts player rights and compensation.
## Salary cap controversy
The MLBPA has long considered a salary cap a non-starter, so discussing its impacts is more of an exercise for the public than something the players will engage with.
## Sox manager's comments
Manager Will Venable said his team had to experience the game's intensity firsthand rather than having governors on their performance.
## Game schedule details
The White Sox will host a nighttime blackout game for Thursday's ALDS Game 4, with potential primetime games at Tropicana Field if they advance to the ALCS.
## Sox game performance
The White Sox struck out 19 times, a postseason record in a nine-inning game, and chased out of the zone at stratospheric levels against Guardians pitchers.
## Sox manager's next steps
Manager Will Venable stated they have the experience in their back pocket now and will talk about the game with the players.
## MLBPA team representatives
Two separate MLBPA team representatives on the White Sox roster declined to comment on the proposal to the Sun-Times.
## Sox focus on ALDS
The White Sox are focused on winning the ALDS game Thursday rather than the league's proposed salary cap changes to the collective bargaining agreement.
## Key takeaway

White Sox players are focused on winning the ALDS game Thursday rather than the league's proposed salary cap changes to the collective bargaining agreement.
