## Funding Shortfall
The UN World Food Programme warned funding shortages will leave 500,000 people in Gaza without critical food aid.

> As of this month, we're now cutting half a million people from the number of people that we're assisting
## Aid Reductions
The WFP reduced monthly assistance from 1.6 million to 1.1 million people in Gaza.
## Food Security Impact
Two-thirds of Gaza's population remains acutely food insecure despite aid cuts.
## Key takeaway

The UN World Food Programme will stop monthly food assistance for 500,000 people in Gaza because of a funding gap.
