## The rumors were true
What fans called "Classic Plus" has a real name: World of Warcraft: Forever. It resets the clock to 2004, the year WoW launched.
## Not a museum piece
Unlike WoW: Classic, this isn't about reliving the old run. Forever adds new parts of Azeroth and tells stories the original progression never got to.

## Level 60, still
The cap stays at 60 "for the foreseeable future," and the new content spans all levels rather than piling up at the top.

## What you actually get
Three new zones, nine dungeons, two raids, and several vanilla zones overhauled to fill the blank spaces on the old map.

## Skyborne Elves arrive
A new playable race joins, plus new race and class combos. The trailer appears to show a Forsaken paladin, a dwarf shaman, and an orc mage.
## Straight out of RuneScape's playbook
Jagex treats 2006 RuneScape as a starting point, not a specimen, and OSRS is bigger now than in its original run. Beta hits Thursday, launch is November 4.
## Key takeaway

Classic Plus finally exists as WoW: Forever, a 2004-era WoW that keeps growing instead of staying frozen.
