## My Sleep Struggle
I lived in a Brooklyn apartment with a noisy upstairs neighbor.
## The Dohm Solution
A friend gave me a 1962 Yogasleep Dohm sound machine for my nightstand.
## How It Works
The machine uses a physical fan to create steady air flow without recordings or apps.
## Noisy Neighbor’s Nemesis
The Dohm masks outside noise so my neighbor’s midnight snacks don’t wake me.
## Why It Works
My brain latches onto the steady sound instead of individual noises.
## The Real Benefit
The Dohm softens all sounds without making my apartment silent.
## Final Verdict
I now use two Dohms to help me sleep better every night.
## Key takeaway

The Yogasleep Dohm sound machine uses a physical fan to create consistent noise that softens external sounds for better sleep without recordings.
