## YouTube announces custom feeds
At its Made by YouTube event on Wednesday, YouTube said users in the US will soon create custom feeds using conversational AI prompts on web, mobile and TVs.
## Feeds for moods and interests
YouTube suggests custom feeds could focus on workouts, long documentaries, or new creators in a niche. Users can dedicate separate feeds to different interests and moods.
## Shorts get episodic features
YouTube expanded its shows feature to Shorts, letting creators arrange episodes with custom thumbnails and sequential playback. This makes microdramas easier to follow in order.
## GIFs come to comments
YouTube will let users post GIFs in video comments using a searchable GIF library. The feature launches globally in the YouTube mobile app sometime this fall.
## Ask YouTube gets shopping tools
YouTube is expanding Ask YouTube to include product reviews, comparison tables, and recommendations. Users can ask about products shown but not mentioned in videos.
## Music and live streaming updates
YouTube Music subscribers get Ask Music for artist discovery and queue control. YouTube extended Coachella streaming rights through 2030 and is piloting live auto-dubbing for English and Spanish in early 2027.
## Key takeaway

YouTube is launching custom feeds, GIF comments, and AI-powered tools for discovery and interaction across its platform.
