Robinson threatens Mail editor

“I'll make you famous and your families because that's what you've done to me.”
The voicemail's threatening language
In the August two thousand twenty-four message, Robinson said he had located every journalist and had pictures of them. He told Verity he knew where he lived and was prepared to come knocking.
“I've already located every fucking one of you. I've got pictures of everyone here that can go in my story.”
Journalists feared vigilante attacks

Andrew Young's safety concerns

Journalist Andrew Young said his main concern was that Robinson had eight hundred thousand followers on X who might seek revenge on him, his home or his family for what he had written.
“My main concern was that while he may not physically harm me, he had 800,000 followers on X at the time who might have been tempted to seek revenge on me or my home or my family for what I had written.”
Robinson's family members targeted
Young's daughter said that after Robinson's X account posted pictures of her mother and sister with their faces cropped out, they felt very worried about their safety.
Jacob Dirnhuber forced to leave home
Journalist Jacob Dirnhuber and his partner had to leave their home address after Robinson shared images of the journalist online and allegedly messaged him photographs of an unknown woman.
Robinson's charges and denial

Robinson, aged forty-three, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, is charged with two counts of harassment causing fear of violence in two thousand twenty-four to journalists Andrew Young and Jacob Dirnhuber. He denies the charges.
Trial continues at Southwark
Prosecutor Ben Holt told the court the case was about Robinson's reaction to what he perceived as an unnecessary intrusion into his holiday. The trial opened on Monday and continues.
