Command post launches for holidays

Indonesia's Transportation Minister Dudy Purwagandhi announced an Integrated Command Post for Christmas 2026 and New Year 2027 transport operations to strengthen coordination and monitoring across the country.
Twenty days of coordinated monitoring
The command post operates from December 18, 2026 to January 6, 2027, a period of 20 days, serving as a coordination center for national transportation operations during the year-end holiday period.
Early warning for disruptions
Through the command post, the ministry and stakeholders will monitor transportation conditions in an integrated manner to identify potential disruptions at an early stage and address them quickly.
“This command post will serve as a platform for integrated coordination and monitoring of transportation conditions with stakeholders, enabling potential disruptions to be anticipated and addressed quickly.”
Operators must share real-time data

Transportation Minister Purwagandhi urged all operators to support the command post by providing operational information promptly, accurately, and continuously throughout the year-end holiday period.
Success measured by safety and service
Purwagandhi said success depends on strong coordination among stakeholders and their ability to resolve obstacles quickly. Behind every ticket is someone whose family is waiting, he said.
“We measure the success of Christmas and New Year operations by public safety and the quality of service people experience from the time they leave until they return home.”
The big picture
Indonesia's Transportation Ministry established an Integrated Command Post from December 18, 2026 to January 6, 2027 to coordinate and monitor Christmas and New Year transport operations nationwide.
