Memphis vs Arkansas Exhibition

Memphis has already knocked off one SEC team on the road in exhibition play and will face No. 12 Arkansas Wednesday at Bud Walton Arena.

Memphis' Experience

Memphis led by ninth-year head coach Penny Hardaway beat Mississippi State 75-58 with only three freshmen on the roster.

Calipari's Assessment

Calipari watched Memphis' tape and called it 'another game that's gonna be a war' after seeing their athletic roster.

“I watched the tape, they're really athletic. They got a big kid from Poland (24-year-old Nemanja Popovic). He's good. I watched the tape last night, I'm like, 'Sheesh.' It's another game that's gonna be a war”

Crowd Engagement

Calipari wants the home crowd to be a factor again with 16,436 fans attending the previous exhibition game.

Memphis' Scouting

Memphis' offense was efficient with 50.9 percent field goal shooting and 45 percent three-point shooting.

Billy Richmond

Billy Richmond III, son of former Memphis player Billy Richmond Jr., will play against his hometown school but says it's a regular game.

“No, it's a regular game. I mean, I'm gonna have friends and family here, so I just want to put on a good game for them. That's about it”

Game Details
