Contract Extension

Skydance Entertainment, parent company of Comedy Central, announced Jon Stewart will host The Daily Show through the end of 2028.

Host Rotation

Ronny Chieng, Josh Johnson, Jordan Klepper, Michael Kosta, and Desi Lydic will rotate hosting Tuesday to Thursday episodes weekly.

Stewart's History

Stewart hosted The Daily Show from 1999 to 2015, left before the 2016 election, and returned in 2024 after Trevor Noah departed in 2022.

“This show doesn’t deserve an even slightly restless host, and neither do you.”
