Jaguar Unveils Type 01

Jaguar finally revealed its new all-electric, super-luxury grand tourer, the Type 01, at a New York event.

Jaguar Managing Director Statement

Rawdon Glover described the Type 01 as the foundation of the brand with no compromise between design and engineering.

“Rawdon Glover, Managing Director, Jaguar, says Type 01 "distills the essence of Jaguar into a luxury grand tourer for a new era," adding that "Jaguars should be objects of desire and culturally relevant, that’s their natural habitat and where Jaguar is returning."”

Type 01 Technical Specs

The Type 01 delivers 1,015 hp, 1,007 lb-ft torque, 0, 60 mph in 3.1 seconds, and a 400-mile range.

Electric Charging Features

It charges 200 miles in 13 minutes and 10, 80% in 22 minutes with a 400-mile range.

Jaguar’s New Pricing and Launch

The Type 01 starts at $130,500 with orders opening in early 2027 and first deliveries in late 2027.
