Merlin legend meets watchmaking
Roger Dubuis closes its decade-long Knights of the Round Table collection with the Metamorph Merlin, a $439,000 timepiece limited to just 28 pieces.
“Inspired by the mythical forest where Merlin is said to have assumed multiple forms”
Dial features 57 blocks, 12 knights
The 45mm dial combines green CVD-coated elements, pink gold, glass, and Crystalium. Twelve micro-sculpted knights stand six millimeters tall where numerals normally appear.
Forest-inspired green and gold design

The dial transforms into a deep green wooded forest with hexagonal blocks. Merlin appears engraved on the watch lug, paired with a green calfskin leather strap.
RD821 movement powers the timepiece
The proprietary automatic movement features 172 components and a 48-hour power reserve. The 4-hertz movement is visible through an open caseback.
Only 28 pieces exist worldwide
This ultra-rare limited edition closes Roger Dubuis' decade-spanning Knights of the Round Table series, with five of seven previous editions largely sold out.
In short
Roger Dubuis completed its 10-year Arthurian legend watch series with the Metamorph Merlin, a $439,000 limited edition combining mythical storytelling with extreme horological precision.
