TraceWeave Raises $2.26M for On-Device AI
TraceWeave secures $2.26 million seed funding to build AI that runs without cloud.
In brief
TraceWeave secures $2.26 million seed funding to build AI that runs without cloud. TraceWeave raised $2.26 million to develop on-device AI with constant memory usage. Originally reported by Pulse 2.0.
TraceWeave Raises $2.26M
TraceWeave has raised approximately $2.26 million (KRW 3 billion) in seed funding to advance its on-device artificial intelligence architecture.
Phase-Titan AI Architecture
TraceWeave is developing Phase-TITAN, a post-Transformer AI architecture designed to support long-context reasoning and multi-step agent workflows while keeping memory usage constant as context length increases.
Memory Efficiency
Conventional Transformer models rely on key-value cache, which grows as context length expands and can create significant memory requirements.
Phase-Titan Performance
At a one-million-token context without quantization, a comparable Transformer’s KV-Cache can consume tens of gigabytes or more, while its one-billion-parameter Phase-TITAN model uses approximately 0.04 GB.
Real-World Testing
TraceWeave has already demonstrated a multi-step AI agent running on a smartphone using only the device’s CPU and without cloud access.
Here's the gist
TraceWeave raised $2.26 million to develop on-device AI with constant memory usage.
