Shrinking season 3 first look

Mindy McKoin filed a lawsuit Tuesday in California state court against Warner Bros. Television and executive producer Randall Winston, alleging wage theft, sexual harassment, and wrongful termination.

Time cards allegedly altered

McKoin claims production accounting was instructed to record her working fewer hours than she actually did, and later denied payment for additional work she requested.

Sexual assault at wrap party

McKoin alleges that Winston grabbed and groped her left breast while she was seated at a bar during a June 2024 wrap party. She reported the incident but says it was never addressed.

Retaliation after complaint

After McKoin told producers she had prepared a wage theft claim and that other crew faced the same issue, she was fired. The studio cited unrelated reasons for her termination.

Warner Bros. denies allegations

The studio said it conducted an independent investigation and found the allegations unsubstantiated and unsupported by corroborating evidence. It emphasized that crew safety is its highest priority.

“The Studio takes all allegations of misconduct and retaliation seriously”

Shrinking renewed despite lawsuit

The Apple TV comedy starring Jason Segel and Harrison Ford was renewed for a fourth season earlier this year and earned nine Emmy nominations, including a best comedy series nod.

The big picture

The lawsuit claims Warner Bros. systematically underpaid crew members and retaliated against an employee who reported wage theft and sexual misconduct.
