What the Eufy Wall Light Cam S4 does
The Eufy Wall Light Cam S4 combines a motion-activated wall light with a four K camera that swivels for the right angle.
How it stays powered
A detachable solar panel sits on top to keep the battery charged. The reviewer's camera stayed charged for the last couple of months despite being in a busy spot.
Why the light matters
You can set brightness and color temperature, schedule it to trigger only between specific hours, or activate it from sunset to sunrise based on your location. It does not look like a security camera.
The downsides
The frame rate is just fifteen fps, so fast-moving subjects can appear blurry, particularly in the dark. The battery may need occasional topping off. The original two hundred fifty dollar price felt high.
The current deal
The Wall Light Cam S4 is now one hundred seventy dollars, eighty dollars off its original two hundred fifty dollar price. At this price, the reviewer says the cost is less of an issue.
“at $170 ($80 off), that's less of an issue”
