Former general arrested for ammunition

Former police general Mulangi Mphego was arrested on Tuesday, October twenty, twenty twenty-six, and accused of unlawfully possessing more than one hundred rounds of ammunition.

Ammunition found in July raid

The ammunition was discovered when investigators searched Mphego's home in Centurion on six July twenty twenty-six. The National Prosecuting Authority said it allegedly belonged to the State and was manufactured for SAPS use.

Released on bail, case postponed

Mphego appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrates' Court and was released on five thousand rand bail.The court heard he had no previous convictions or pending criminal cases.The case was postponed to three November twenty twenty-six.

Search linked to Mfazi murder probe
