Musk announces Cybertruck production ends
Elon Musk announced on X that Tesla will wind down Cybertruck production at Gigafactory Texas around the middle of next year.

Cybertruck born with big promises
The Cybertruck was announced in Los Angeles on November twenty-first, twenty nineteen, with a thirty nine thousand nine hundred dollar price tag and promised twenty twenty-one delivery.
Glass windows shattered at debut
Despite two of its allegedly unbreakable glass windows shattering during its first public appearance, the vehicle convinced customers to put down deposits.
Design proved impossible to manufacture
Industry designers said in January twenty twenty-three that the Cybertruck's polygonal body could never be mass-produced reliably. The design demanded sub-ten-micron precision, nearly impossible in current car factories.
Price doubled before first deliveries
The Cybertruck reached customers in late twenty twenty-three with a sixty thousand nine hundred ninety dollar price tag and visibly misaligned doors.
Each unit was slightly different
Musk confessed in a leaked internal email that due to the Cybertruck's bright metal with mostly straight edges, any dimensional variation shows up like a sore thumb.
“Due to the nature of Cybertruck, which is made of bright metal with mostly straight edges, any dimensional variation shows up like a sore thumb.”
Chronic panel misalignment plagued vehicles
The Cybertruck suffered multiple ailments including chronic panel misalignment, recurring trim detachment, accelerator pedals prone to jamming, and frunks capable of amputating fingers.
More defects emerged throughout production
Additional problems included windshields defeated by hail, borderline autopilot disorder, dead-on-arrival syndrome, and systemic rust on its allegedly stainless steel body.
Designer calls it a low-polygon joke
Veteran car designer Adrian Clarke said the Cybertruck is a low-polygon joke that only exists in fever dreams of Tesla fans and stands high on the smell of Elon Musk's flatulences.

Production winds down mid-2027
Tesla will cease Cybertruck production at its only manufacturing facility around the middle of twenty twenty-seven, ending the vehicle's troubled four-year run.

Tesla will stop making the Cybertruck at Gigafactory Texas around mid-2027, ending a vehicle plagued by design flaws and manufacturing defects since its 2023 launch.
